Elder Chaun L. Ricks
Elder Chaun L. Ricks is a man of integrity with
an awesome teaching anointing, the gift of revelation knowledge, and a
longing to produce mature saints through the cultivation of the Word of the
Lord.
Born and raised in Portsmouth, Virginia, under
the watchful eye of his mother Elder Sylvia Hillard and his grandmother the
late Irene B. Ricks, Elder Ricks received his secular training in Portsmouth
Public School system. After receiving a diploma from Manor High
School, he accepted a music scholarship to Norfolk State University.
Life's journey took him to various places such
as Houston, Texas and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and eventually landing him
in New Castle, Delaware where his true purpose and his life's destiny was to
be revealed. It was in New Castle that God allowed him to be
ministered to by a true woman of God, Apostle Patricia Williams, who spoke
the words of life concerning his destiny. God supplied him with a
helpmeet in the form of Elder Tawana Ricks and together they began
proclaiming the "Good News" of Jesus Christ through the ministry of
reconciliation, evangelism, music and Biblical teachings.
Elder Ricks has come up through the ranks of
ministry and God has exhaulted and lifted him up as he humbles himself
before the Almighty. Gifted with several talents, Elder Ricks stands
as a beacon of light to me of all ages.
some of the accomplishments of this man of God
includes teaching Sunday School and Bible Study, facilitating several
workshops, implementing Christian orientations, and hosting weekly cable
program "The Vine Connection". He is currently the National Elder for
the Full Gospel Tabernacle Ministries Worldwide founded by his spiritual
parents, Elder Tyson and Apostle Patricia C. Williams.
He has been blessed in holy matrimony for the
past seven years to his best friend, Elder Tawana Ricks, while being a model
father to his children Myesha, Denzel, Briyonna and Dayshanay.
Elder Ricks continues to stand on the word
believing that the best offense against the tactics of the enemy is a good
defense. . . and who better to defend you then the Word of God himself,
Jesus Christ! ! !
